This programme is suitable for students in or going into Secondary School Levels 1-5.

NOTE: Unlike our regular tuition classes, this programme can cater to more than 6 participants as it involves team work and group learning.

Programme Outline

In this programme, we will introduce the participant to the importance of water quality in the environment and how water quality monitoring can be carried out. We will cover the following:

  • What is water quality
  • The critical water quality parameters
  • Art and science of water sampling and testing in a real water body

At the end of this workshop, each student is able to:

  1. Appreciate the importance of water quality to the health of the environment
  2. Explain how several fundamental water quality parameters interact with aquatic life
  3. Perform field sampling and monitoring of freshwater

  • Venue: Water body to be confirmed
  • iMatter Learning Centre reserves the right to conduct the programme at an alternative indoors venue if the weather is deemed not suitable for outdoors work. No refund will be entertained under such circumstances.
