Our Primary Math Tuition is available for Primary Levels 2 to 6.
As the MOE syllabus gradually increases in depth and breadth from Primary 2 to 6, our tuition follows suit to ensure that our students are well prepared for their level assessments.
Learning more than just Math
Depending on the level and ability of the student, we will gradually integrate the following metacognitive skills into the relevant math topics.
- Apply heuristics in solving problems
- Use answer checking techniques
- Analyse question requirements
- View a problem from different perspectives
- Exercise time management
- Generate concept maps to summarise key concepts and categorise typical questions
Starting with the End in Mind: PSLE Math
Our ultimate aim is to prepare the student for PSLE. Therefore, all components of PSLE Math will eventually be covered via the following learning methods and more.
- Using examples to understand and apply concepts
- Foundational questions to ensure good grasp of fundamentals
- Challenging questions to expose students to higher order thinking and problem solving skills
- Topical tests to assess learning
- Mock exams to prepare for exam
